Thank you for reading my blog. Also, huge thank you for buying Little Eden.
One way to tell you a little about me without being boring is to answer 10 questions so here goes!
What books inspired you to write Little Eden? I would have to say The Far Away Tree, Malory Towers, Anne of Greengables, Little Women and Nancy Drew during my childhood inspired me. Whilst at university it was all of Andre Gide’s work, Edgar Allen Poe short stories and The Passion by Janette Winterson to name but a few. Later it was The Haunting by Shirely Jackson, The Celestine Prophecy and all of Jane Austen.
What’s your favorite cake? I love afternoon tea, as you can tell from Little Eden, but carrot cake or a simple vanilla sponge with cream I usually pick in a cafe but I also love India’s brownies and Arval bread too!
What’s your favorite TV show? I love Murder She Wrote, Murdock Mysteries, Agatha Christie adapatations and my guilty pleasure is RuPaul’s Drag race!
What do you do in your spare time? Due to having CFS hobbies and past-times are limited but I love to craft, making jewellery and dreamcatchers for my Etsy Shop and go to cafe with a friend (and if it’s a pottery painting cafe all the better!) I also often write articles on Facebook and Patreon.
Which 5 famous people (dead or alive) would you invite to dinner if you could? I would invite Winston Churchill, Barack Obama, St Hilda of Whitby, St John of Beverley and King Richard 3rd.
What is the most amazing place you have ever visited? I would have to say Uluru in Australia as not only does it take your breath away but I woke up there spiritually but it is on a par with the Sequoia Forest in California and the Southern Alpes in New Zealand!
When you are having a bad day what makes you feel better? Praying, meditating, chocolate, cake, tea and watching an episode of Murder She Wrote!
What job would you do if you could do anything? I would work for Unicef
Who would play you in a movie about your life? I’d love to pick someone much prettier than me so I would have to say Ashley Judd.
What’s on your bucket list? To be cured of CFS and chronic pain, to see Niagra Falls and visit my Canandian friend, build a retirement retreat for all my friends and plant millions of trees, support orphanges all over the world and to meet the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu and the Obamas and to sell 62 million copies of my books! As you can see I dream big even after all these years of failure! Still, you gotta dream!!!
Due to suffering from CFS I have no regular income I need all the financial support I can get from earth angels such as yourselves – as spirit angels don’t have any money! Here a few easy ways to help me…
