Been trying out some recipes for the Recipe Book that will accompany my new novel, Little Eden. Mrs B has been busy in the kitchen, baking up her favourites and perfecting the traditional English scone so that you can recreate the amazing Afternoon Tea at the Daisy Place Cafe for you and your friends at home!
We tested Lucy’s Ginger Snap Biscuits too thanks to Michael Brattan lending us his tried and tested recipe and everyone wanted more – so next time we’d better bake an extra batch!
Mrs B is experimenting with alternatives to cane sugar too – beech sugar, for example, and coconut sugar!
By Christmas we’ll have about 10 delicious recipes for you which are all part of the story of Little Eden!
